Finally a Sandbox game that is so epic on your phone that you will never want to put it down. TownCraft is great game for your iOS device, once you open it you will be absorbed into a beautiful medieval world, from which each world is randomly generated. For gamers this means that you will always be playing in unique terrains that you must conquer to build the best possible town. Once you start building your town you start to see it grow and more people will visit your town from all across the lands. I remember when I first noticed my town getting popular I felt like a total god. What I really enjoyed about TownCraft is that you have objectives that you must complete but there is really no pressure to do so this eases the players mind and allows you to a have relaxing play through. Another aspect of this game that I thought was fantastic was you that you are able to hire workers. This takes away a good chunk of tedious game play that I think most gamers will find very useful. The Final part of this game that I thought was absolutely terrific was the tutorial. It explains everything that you need to know to play the game without any frustration that could lead to a phone being destroyed. TownCraft is an amazing game for your phone with price of 4.99 it is a no brainer you will find hours of great gameplay and entertainment.

There are a few issues with going dungeon crawling in real life. One being that it is extremely time consuming and that you actually need to use physical energy. Two being there are not many dungeons out in the world that have not been cleared. In any case Tiny Dice Dungeon from Springloaded allows you to venture deep into dangerous keeps where monsters are abundant and treasure is plenty. The game is a side scrolling dungeon crawler with cute 8-bit graphics. Tiny Dice Dungeon is essentially a combination of Brave Frontier or Dungeons and Dragons. In Tiny Dice Dungeons you are able to capture monsters and add them to your party. We saw this game mechanic used in Brave Frontier so it is not that original. What this game borrows from D and D is that us must us dice to roll your attacks. This was probably the best part of the game for me as you can roll the dice as many times as you would like but if you roll a 1 you forfeit your turn. What I would have liked to seen in this game is more character customization because you only play as a dude with a sword bigger than he is. Tiny Dice Dungeon is a step in the right direction if you really like this type of game than it is a no brainer if not then you may want to steer clear.

The Sandbox

The power of a god is a wonderful thing; but with great power comes great responsibility or so we are told. The Sandbox from Pixowl games allows to somewhat harness power of god and creates your own world with life or death depending on how sadistic you are. The game allows you build your territory; you can make mountains, lakes, oceans and much more. What this game needs though is to work. The Sandbox is plagued with lag, and crashes which make the overall experience not that amusing and a lot less immersive. The second aspect that this game is completely lacking is the amount of element/ability at your disposal. You have a few basic ones but apart from that you must buy them to have more pieces to play with which in my mind completely sucks. Finally this game is constantly pushing you to buy all the premium stuff. I know the company needs to make money but shoving your ads down our throats is not a good plan, gamers who really loved your game will buy the other stuff. The Sandbox is not a game I can recommend, there is so much stuff out on the app store so why bother.
